Saajan Ki Bahon Mein is a 1995 Hindi romantic drama film starring Rishi Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and Tabu. The film is directed by Jai Prakash and produced by Dinesh B. Patel. Plot
Sagar (Rishi Kapoor) is a famous singer who is always surrounded by female fans wherever he goes. On one of his shows in Srinagar, he meets Sapna (Raveena Tandon), a daughter of a wealthy businessman, Mr. Narang (Pran). Sagar and Sapna are instantly attracted to each other and exchange phone numbers. However, Sapna's father disapproves of their relationship and arranges her marriage with Rakesh (Sumeet Saigal), a rich and arrogant man. Sagar tries to stop the wedding, but is beaten up by Rakesh's goons and left for dead. He is rescued by Kavita (Tabu), a doctor who treats his injuries and falls in love with him. Sagar recovers and decides to move on with his life, unaware that Sapna is still waiting for him.
Years later, Sagar and Kavita get engaged and plan to get married. However, fate brings Sagar and Sapna face to face again when they are invited to perform at a charity show organized by Mr. Narang. Sagar is shocked to see Sapna, who is now a widow and a mother of a son. Sapna is also surprised to see Sagar, who is now engaged to Kavita. The old feelings between them are rekindled, but they are also aware of the complications in their lives. Will Sagar and Sapna be able to reunite or will they sacrifice their love for the sake of their families?

Review
Saajan Ki Bahon Mein is a typical Bollywood melodrama that tries to cash in on the popularity of Rishi Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, who were one of the hottest pairs of the 90s. The film has a clichéd plot that borrows elements from several other films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! and Maine Pyar Kiya. The film lacks originality and freshness and relies on the star power of its lead actors to carry the film.
